⚖️ Terms & Conditions

Ajit Jodhpur Gujarat Roadlines

1. Vehicle Availability & Booking

• 10 Tyre and 12 Tyre trucks are available 24×7 for urgent movement.

• For 14 Tyre, 16 Tyre, and 22 Tyre (Tralla) vehicles, a minimum 2-day advance booking is required.

• Vehicle allotment is subject to real-time availability and confirmation by our dispatch team.

2. Rate Calculation

• All rates are dynamic and calculated as per the market at the time of dispatch.

• Rate formula:

  (Base Freight + Fuel Adjustment) + 18% GST = Total Freight Rate

• Rates depend on route, distance, load type, and prevailing diesel price.

• Final quotation will be shared before the movement confirmation.

3. Documentation Requirements

To ensure smooth and legal transport operations:

• E-Way Bill must be generated before vehicle dispatch.

  • Official Portal: ewaybillgst.gov.in

• If assistance is needed, our team can help generate the E-Way Bill for the first time.

• Invoice copies (4 sets) and a properly sealed envelope must be given to the driver at the loading point.

• The consignor must ensure that all shipment documents (E-Way Bill, Invoice, and Permit, if required) are complete and accurate.

• The company will not be liable for penalties, detentions, or delays due to incorrect or missing documents.

4. Payment Terms

• 80% of freight must be paid at the time of loading.

• The remaining 20% must be paid upon delivery.

• Payments accepted via bank transfer, UPI, or other approved modes.

• Delays in payment may result in hold or delay in delivery.

5. Liability & Risk

• No responsibility is taken for fragile or delicate items such as glass or electronics — such goods are transported at the shipper’s risk only.

• For cloth, rugs, or similar materials, proper packaging must be ensured by the consignor; the company will not be liable if such goods get dirty or damaged in transit.

• For iron coils or heavy goods that can damage the truck body, an additional ₹10,000 charge applies for vehicle wear and tear.

• For scrap, loose goods, or mixed loads, any weight difference or quantity loss during movement will not be the company’s responsibility.

6. Loading & Unloading

• Loading/unloading must be arranged by the customer unless confirmed otherwise in writing.

• Waiting charges may apply if loading or unloading exceeds the allowed time.

7. Insurance

• Transit insurance is the responsibility of the consignor.

• The company is not liable for any loss, theft, leakage, or damage during transit unless covered by valid insurance arranged by the customer.

8. Delay or Cancellation

• Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, strikes, or government checks.

• Cancellations after dispatch will incur fuel and driver retention charges.

• No demurrage will be paid for delays caused by conditions beyond the company’s control.

9. Weight & Volume Calculations

• Chargeable weight is the higher of actual weight or volumetric weight.

• Volumetric Formula: (Length × Width × Height in cm) ÷ 5000.

• Any excess load beyond approved capacity will require prior consent.

10. Goods Condition & Packaging

• Proper packing of goods is mandatory before loading.

• The company will not be liable for any damage caused by poor packing or leakage from containers, drums, or bags.

• Prohibited, illegal, or hazardous goods must not be loaded without written permission.

11. Force Majeure

The company shall not be responsible for any delay, loss, or damage due to:

• Accidents, strikes, or natural disasters.

• Road closures, political unrest, or government restrictions.

• Other circumstances beyond the company’s reasonable control.

12. Jurisdiction

• All legal matters and disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Uttar Pradesh (Company registration state).

• For inter-state movements, local jurisdiction may apply as per the location of service or operation.

13. General Notes

• All consignments are carried under “Owner’s Risk” unless insured.

• Once goods are loaded, they are deemed accepted under transit terms.

• Rate quotations are valid for 24–48 hours only and may change with diesel price or truck availability.

• The company reserves the right to refuse loads that do not meet documentation or safety standards.
